umbaumanager.ch is an established startup from Zurich, which was founded in 2019. umbaumanager.ch was founded with the aim of supporting builders with no prior knowledge of renovation. Since its foundation, hundreds of projects have already been realized via the platform.

When Christian, an architect, was in the middle of remodeling his bathroom, he needed all the tradesmen from plumbers and electricians to tile layers, painters and plasterers to renovate the old bathroom. Fortunately, his experience as an architect and project/construction manager enabled him to select the right tradesmen and, above all, to coordinate and supervise them among themselves.
But how do homeowners do it without this wealth of experience and the necessary expertise? The choice is too great, the offers too opaque and the renovation time too uncertain. During a ski vacation with his school friend and computer scientist Faton, they developed the idea for a digital renovation platform for homeowners, where dates, costs and quality of each remodel can be viewed.
The result is umbaumanager.ch. From planning, obtaining offers, awarding contracts, construction management to defect management, the digital service of umbaumanager.ch now connects the entire process and its participants.
